How our credit restoration process works.

Step 1: Forward your credit reports.

You begin each cycle by forwarding to us copies of your credit reports from all three major credit bureaus, along with any and all creditor mail. The credit bureaus will only correspond with you directly. By sending us these credit reports, it will allow our company to know which items have been removed successfully, and which items still need to be disputed.

Step 2: Let us know which items to dispute for you.

Take It Off My Creditâ„¢ will begin analyzing your reports. Our expert staff will dispute any negative, inaccurate, or obsolete information contained in your reports as well as any name variations and inquiries.

Step 3: Take It Off My Creditâ„¢ works your case.

To begin the dispute process, we utilize our vast depository of credit restoration strategies and experience to contest negative items directly with the credit bureaus. Our team will repeat this step for each subsequent loop throughout the cycle, based on the number of inaccurate and incorrect negative items being disputed. We will work with these creditors directly to get these items removed from your credit file.

Step 4: Relax as you await the results.

The credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate your dispute and respond accordingly. Following their investigation, they must inform you of the results, update your credit report, and send you a copy of the updated report. Generally, it takes 45 days from the date we send in a dispute for you to receive your updated report. Once you receive your response, you will need to make a copy of the updated report to keep for your records, and then send us a copy so we can proceed with your case. From there, the cycle starts fresh, only with fewer negative items to dispute on your credit report each round.
